Can I still use my B17A stock ECU if I swap the B17A block to a B18C? Any other considerations to lookout for?

 

If its obd1 then yes.

same thing i was going to do but only with a b16head and b18c block but just watch out for your compression ratios .. i saw some dude had one but had 9.8 wich really didnt make any since? like your setup .. you could have higer compression since the b17head is smaller ??

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the B16A and B17A heads are quite similiar, the only difference is the block.
