introduction
Ya get out the fire extinguisher 'cause the FLAMES are coming!
People will tell you that you need to use the search feature to find the answer to this same question that has been asked (conservatively) a billion times.
Generally speaking you first need to decide what you want this engine to be and then buy supporting, bolt on modifications that are going to help you get there. Remember that mods that are appropriate for a stock bottom 1.8L are rarely going to be ideal for a more heavily modified version.
I would start with a good quality, cat delete race header and exhaust, intake manifold and throttle body followed by a Hondata ECU.
At that point you can tune the car to optimize the bolt ons and/or think about camshafts.
The best advice I can offer you is to use the search function to find threads in which builds are described that are similar to what you have in mind. You can then see what their outcomes were like with the part choices they made and use that as a guideline for what you want to do.
