Any negative things about the honda grom I should know about before I buy it, it will be my first bike, thought it would be a money saver and something fun to commute to school with

I'm not seeing to many negatives other than the 125. From what i'm reading its fun, great quality, and it looks like you'll have a ton of aftermarkets parts to pick from soon.

its cheeper than getting a Ruckus and modding it up to 125, but you could score an old honda 150 scooter for half that price. Your call, but I don't think your going to regret it.

 

It does not have a oil filter only a oil strainer.
It's expensive.
Buy a used cbr250 or ninja 300.
