2007 Ridgeline won't crank... Immobilizer key is flashing... Can I bypass it?
Fate is a wonderful thing... Had to jump my Ridgeline while camping about a month ago (played the radio too long). Decided to be proactive and get a new battery before winter set in. Drove to the store... bought the new battery... put it in the trunk to replace when I got home but when I tried to start my truck... it wouldn't crank. Lights come on, radio plays, fuel pump pressurizes... just no cranking. Since I was stuck anyway I replaced the battery in the parking lot... same result. The green immobilizer key is flashing and from what I have read it can be bypassed temporarily so as not to have to get it towed. I purchased the truck from my father-in-law who purchased it new. I have the VIN number as well as the registration but when I called the dealership where the truck was purchased they said it couldn't be done. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Charlie

I don't think the brake codes are available for a Ridgeline.
As far as I know they are only available for Accord, CR-V, Insight, Odyssey, S2000, Civic and Prelude.
Call a local locksmith to come out and reprogram your keys.
