Default Spark plug wires d-series mini me.

Hey guys I got a quick question. So I did a mini me swap on my car and my block is d15b7 and the head I put on is d16z6 and it didn't come with distributor so I had to buy one separate a vtec one but it was only the distributor and didn't come with spark plug wires. Can I use my d15b7 spark plug wires or do I have to buy some for a 95 civic Ex that's the car I took the head off of and put it in my 95 civic LX so that's my question because I think the head I have is a d16z6 but it has a d16y8 valve cover is that why the spark plug wires don't fit all the way in? But they click just fine into the spark plugs

Z6 and Y8 have virtually the same valve covers. the difference is the design of the head between the B7 and Z6/Y8. since they click in place you should be able to run with them. but, to get a good seal and keep stuff out of the tubes, and look normal... you need wires for a Z6 (92-95 EX).
