I just purchased a 91 crx with a gsr swap equipped with spray. The guy says he built it to handle almost anything. This winter, I plan to rip the engine out and see what all he has done, build it, and drop it back in for spring. It needs new rings so i have a reason to pull it out. I have done a lot of research and everyone seems to have their own recipe of parts to make their engines reliable and put out the horsepower they desire. Now, if he doesn't have it built like he says it is, what concoction of aftermarket and OEM parts give me a reliable engine and still put out a safe max horsepower? I know people don't want to share their secrets but if your willing, it would really help me a lot.
