Default 91 crx si B18C swap

ok I have looked into this a little bit and I will a lot more before going ahead and starting anything. I have a dc integra with a jdm gsr swap and a 91 crx si. I want to swap the gsr into the crx I have access to a garage I have plenty of tools just no air compressor : (.
so I have-
gsr motor
lsd trans

so this will be my first motor swap, you have to learn somehow right. but I do have some questions for those who have more experience. the crx is mpfi, so I shouldn't have trouble swapping my gsr harness right? and I shouldn't have to worry about vtec since the harness is already wired up?
shift linkage!! ive read about having to use da linking and cut it. my transmission is hydraulic so I am going to need to convert. can I use my m/c and everything from my integra or will I need to buy a kit?

Well first off Good Luck, honestly.

I recently finished my first swap and learned alot.

Unless you plan on replacing the dash harness to ODB1/2, youll need to either need modify for crx engine harness to operate the new motor, or get another harness.

Also, your crx has a resistor box for the fuel injectors, newer systems ( ei: ob1-obd2) dont require that box becuase. (peak and hold / saturated injectors)

As for the transmission, you need to buy a "cable to hrydo" conversion kit. Unless you get a cable B-series trans instead.

You will need new motor mounts here is a link. http://hasport.com/store/index.php/efb2.html
Here is an easier way to do the shift linkage. http://www.innovativemounts.com/Prod...ductCode=59119
And here is the cable to hydro conversion http://www.innovativemounts.com/Prod...ductCode=41000

Hope this helps out some..

@efmime I would be reusing my gsr harness. so I can replace the whole harness and keep my injectors that are in the gsr right? no rewiring. I have it stepped down from obd2 to 1 right now and I would also be using my ecu from the integra too and @owendevo10 thanks im going to look over those they should help!

how are you going to use your gsr harness without rewiring? take a look at the shock tower of your gsr then your crx.

there are a few links in the faa for bseries swaps, go check em out.

Send your CRX engine harness and your GSR engine harness to RYWIRE and they will marry the two together and everything will be plug and play. That's what I did, well worth the $$$$.

I'm a minister so I married mine myself at home.

With the jokes aside, there are tons of write ups on this. I did one too. Just search it.

You use the stock CRX MPFI harness. You will need to add VTEC to your stock CRX harness. It's 2 wires, very easy.

Shift linkage is easier. Either cut and weld your own out of a DA linkage or buy the innovative shift linkage that is custome made for the EF chassis and the B-series motor.

I have seen people fab their own stuff up and use the pedal assembly from the integra. I would just buy a conversion kit. Hush I believe makes the best one around. That's just what I've heard.

ok guys sorry I haven't replied I went to basic training and ait but I am home now and hopefully this project can begin soon!.. I am going to go with a premade shift linkage and a hydro conversion kit. The wiring still confuses me. I have a obd1 p28 running my gsr right now, if I swapped it I need to use the crx mpfi harness? can i use the p28 with something like rywire obd0 to obd1 kit.

Take the wiring harness from the gsr and p28 and you're good to go
