please help!!
i have a 1994 honda civic with a d16y8 and a t3t4 turbo and it has a 5 speed runs and drives but runs reall shitty at low rpms and idles really rough and wants to die and some time does will not stay running at a redlight please help ive already took off the iacv and clean it and put new hose on it one of them were cracked can take videos or pics if needed
i just traded my bagged s10 for this car like 3 days ago not reall sure about the cel or if its tuned or even to see what kinda ecu it is tell me wat u info u guys need and in the mornin i will go out to the car and get every detail

i will take a pic tomrrow and a video because on the side of the engine bay were the belts and **** are and on the hood theres oil splatter still tryin to figure out were thats coming from but is that chart from a haynes manual
yes. an example of how you need to go about troubleshooting. IF its a lot, time to take it to a professional mechanic, turbo or not.
im about to take pics because im pretty sure internally he said nothing was done with with it but theres 400 or 450cc injectors if that sounds right and a skunk intake .......some kinda diffrent distribitor that ive never seen and there were some loose wires like goin to the e fan so i cleaned them all up well most of them and thats when i found the oil
not having it tuned will make it almost completely un-driveable, and can and often will damage and/or destroy the engine if you attempt to drive it. you'll need to park the car immediately and find a Honda tuner in your area and talk to him about how to go about everything
Organize your info and come back. Or better yet, trade the guy back for your S10. Fixing someone else's issues isn't worth the hassle or investment.

Take a lot of pics of everything, that way we can help tell you what kind of parts and such are on the car, then we can start with the trouble shooting.

And I agree, if this car is a total piece of **** then get your s10 back... it almost sounds like he was trying to unload this car because he knew it was a piece of **** that was just hastily slapped together and he had no idea what he was doing and got in over his head, I'm willing to bet your s10 that the entire turbo system is ebay parts
well i havent been driving the car since i got it just goin out and fidling with stuff .....well i said i dont know if it needs to be tuned because idk anything about these cars and thats only what the guy said..... theres a guy in a place called connersville indiana about 20 mins from me and i was goin check him out but idk ive been lookin were to download the oem hayne manaul cant find it.....

also the d16y8 is the worst motor honda ever made... They are notorious for spinning bearings due to a sub-par oiling system... the crank only has one oiling hole for each bearing journal as opposed to two on every other honda motor.. The oil pumps also randomly fail for no reason
so tuned or not, a boosted y8 is a ticking time bomb regardless due to the oiling problems... mine was bone stock, well maintained, and the oil pump failed cruising down the highway, spun every bearing and even spun the cam in the head...
This guy was trying to unload a problem onto someone else. I seriously suggest you get your s10 back before you start dumping endless amounts of money into this shitbox to get it running right (if you even can, at all)

well after doin some listning to you guys i got the keys to the truck back and im goin to get the truck tomrrow
