I have just purchased this car and have the following problem!
The radio works fine on all channels but the cd player does not give out any sound at all. I can load discs and everthing appears normal. Try to play one and after about 30 seconds the right hand side flashes "Disc" and there is no sound at all. Anyone Have Ideas?

 

replace the unit, or try a different disc

 

Sounds like the block is crapping out and needs to be replaced.

Extremely common for these factory stereos to have issues and they are not cheap.
