I have looked all over the internet for some help on this and so far found nothing. I am currently installing a ls cable transmission from a 93 intergra into my Crx to replace my cable b16 transmission. Everything was going very smooth, got it all taken apart, got the transmission out and went to install y new transmission. However I have run into a problem. The new transmission does Not want to line up. The input shaft is in but the dowels don't seem to want to let it line up. Also on the left hand side, ie, facing the rear of the car the mount that goes from car to transmission isn't going into place. I have looked for a write up or how to but have come up empty . If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

 

Did you replace the clutch with a LS clutch? I am not 100% sure but it sounds like the input shaft is not going in all the way, but I could be wrong. Maybe someone else will chime in with more experience and a better answer.

 

From What I could find it says I have to change it because of the spline count is off, but I counted both transmission are they are both 24. The input shafts are the same as Well.

 

It is possible that your intermediate shaft is to long. Im almost positive the LS intermediate shaft is slightly shorter than b16 shaft..
