Default Some exotic hardwood shift ***** I've been working on

Hey guys. I have recently gotten access to some really nice exotic hardwoods and I decided to try to make a shift **** or two out of it for my EG. First couple turned out good, so I made some more! I posted a couple pics on another website and a guy commissioned a **** from me to match his Nardi steering wheel...I really liked the finished product of the design we came up with so I made several more in that style. As of right now, all of these are threaded for Honda/Acura (or whatever others use M10x1.50 pitch) but I am working on being able to have a universal insert that I can just tap to desired thread pitch. Let me know what you think!

Look like a lot better quality than the wood nardi **** I had a few years ago. I like them especially the light and dark layered ones.

Yes definitely, PM me for more details. Can also make something to your specs if you have an idea in mind.

Have you tried making a spherical one?

Yep, that's what I'm currently working on...it's trickier than you'd think to make a passable sphere freehand. There are a few different jigs I want to experiment with but to be able to make nice spheres is my end goal.

There has been a learning curve here for sure - I started with just a chop saw and belt/disc sander (first 4 pictures), then I acquired a sort-of-ghetto lathe adapter for my drill press which allowed me to turn the simple tapered cylinders (5th pic was my first of those, was a commission job from another website), and now I have a set of basic lathe tools that allow me to be able to produce curved surfaces (6th and last pictures).
