Default RBC manifold or 52mm twm itb's

Hi. Which would be the better set up for an all motor f20b/h22 setup.

I already have the itb's. But I'm selling an old race car without the engine. So thought it would be easier to sell the car needing just an engine.

Many thanks for your help
Adam

What are the engines specs and what is it going to be used for?

Hi. Its a f20b with +1mm bore. Race car use only. Rpm range of 4k - 8.5 ish.

I have read so much negative veiws about the twm's. I thought if I'm not gaining anything then I could swap to an rbc.

Adam.

Most negative reviews will be from people who ether don't have the engine capable to run them or they are not using them for their designed use. I see a lot of people post that they lost power on a dyno over a plenum manifold. Then neglect to say that their reaction times or lap times were 1-2 seconds faster.

HP is relative, for a road race car I would rather have 400hp with individual throttles over 400hp with a plenum style manifold. That's just my opinion.

A large % of road race cars utilize individual throttles. F1, Australian V8 super cars, GT1 GT2, the old JTCC 2.0L Accord used them as well. Although a few of them are moving toward smaller displacement boosted engines. I'm waiting to see if they keep the individual throttles with boost as well.

Ok thanks for your input. I've been running them for 3 years now without any problems.
