Default koni + gc

Alright so I am planning to get custom rates gc with top hats. But have no idea what rates I want and to get. Going to be on my eg, its a dd, so mostly on street. Want stiff enough so I dont bounce so much since I am considering flush look but also in the long run want to get on the 1/4mile. The roads here are bad. Currently I have ebay coilovers on my koni slammed and yeah it rides like ****. I've played around and tweeked my koni's back and forth and its most likely at its best ride setting it can get before being too stiff or too bouncy.

Any information, pictures, why the custom rates, etc.. will help..

THANKS!

*Already posted in suspension section and nothing.. so figure I'll try here.

FAQ has a FANTASTIC write up on this.

As a matter of fact, here it is.

On ground control's website I believe you can tell them what kind of driving you expect to do and they'll match the spring rates for you.

This is an outdated set up as GC's collars have been known to be made of crap pot metal.

But the sleeve/shock combo dates back to mid 90's. Yea, it works, but theres alot more options out there for full coilovers for about the same price and have custom spring rates.

Progress is one company that comes to mind.

Yes I believe so too but I was wondering what people who personally use them have to say about it.

I was looking into progress before I brought my konis. People do like them and how they ride. However from what people, friends and family suggested I went with koni and plan on getting gc. I am probably going to look into other brands and more into progress as I am planning to pick up another project.
