Icon2 EG with EK B16A and electrical issues

I recently bought an EG with what I'm told a complete EK B16A swap, EK electrical harnesses and everything.
Since bought all the buttons in the dash and heater controls don't work, except for the fan speed and heat adjuster.
I've heard that EK engine swapped into an EG needs Integra electrical loom. Is that true?
Has anyone here had this problem or know what I have to do to fix this.

Not sure how that would be wire at all. The "EK" harnesses are one piece that connect from the engine all the way to the ECU. The "EG" harnesses are two piece going from the engine to the shock tower, then from the shock tower to the ECU. Take pictures of your harness and post them.

According to the previous owner he took a complete wire harness (bumper to bumper) out of an EK and used it in the EG.
Gauges and clock works and illuminate but the A/C buttons, rear defrost and mirror control don't work and don't illuminate.
When one of the heater control buttons are pressed the clock dies and gauge light goes turns of.

I just wanted to ask if anyone has had this problem, before I start removing the dashboard and troubleshoot the wiring.

Check and see if you have a one piece harness or two piece.

What's the easiest way to see that?

This guy tells you how you could tell the difference between a 'One Piece' and a 'Two Piece'.

Sorry, clearly I'm not paying enough attention.

Thanks

B16B = Civic Type R
B16A-3 = Civic Si-R (EG6)
Civic Del Sol Si
Civic SiR (EK4)
CRX Si-R (EF9)
Civic Si (EM1)
All JDM motors do not have Numbers after the last letter. Ex. B16B, B18C, K20A, ect.
