Default Aeromotive FPR, push lock fitting for vacuum reference help......

So I know they make one, but I can not find the part #. Can anyone help me find a push lock fitting that fits the Aeromotive FPR vacuum reference port. As far as I know it is a 1/16" NPT thread in there.

I have searched and have either overlooked or can not find the part # for this fitting.

If someone has one they want to sell or can give me a part # I would greatly appreciate it. I am trying to avoid drilling and tapping my FPR to 1/8" NPT.

I just checked their website and it says its an 1/8" NPT port on that regulator… if that pic is from your setup what is the issue?

The vacuum port is not 1/8" NPT. The port for the pressure gauge is 1/8" NPT. The vacuum port is 1/16" NPT.

Also, why would I post up a pic of my own setup then ask for the part # to a part that I would not need? That pic is from another site (yellowbullet). No one ever listed a part # or where they got the part in the thread where I found that pic. But after some help from a member over on there I think I found the correct part # for the part I would like to use. This listing is from McMaster Carr.

Here is what I found:

So for future reference for anyone that would like to use a push lock fitting in the boost reference port on their Aeromotive FPR the 1/16"NPT to 1/4" hose fitting listed here should probably work.

Lol sorry, I thought it was your pic and was incredibly confused as to what your issue was.

I have a bunch of 1/16th, and 1/8 npt 90's and straights that take 1/4" line.. Pm me if interested.. I can put together a kit of whatever configuration you want with polyurethane line and fire retardant sleeving for high heat areas.

There you go man. At least I helped someone other than myself with this info. Check out the guy that posted in here, sounds like he has some better configurations and choices than what I listed.

The one that I got for the FPR is plastic. I have some brass fittings as well. In the past on a previous turbo setup I did not use the plastic near high heat areas.

I am not a fitting expert, there are some guys on here that actually deal with this stuff, such as the guy that posted in this thread. Send him a pm.

fuckenboostin posted above us. He said he has a bunch of that stuff.

Most of my fittings came from my taking them home from an old job of mine and people giving them to me. These new fittings I got from McMaster, which is why I posted up the image of their site with the part #.

takes about 1 min to drill and tap it to 1/8" ..... I didn't bother looking as it would be hard to get, when I did mine... make sure you take the top half off before, if you do decide to make it 1/8"....

Yeah, I know I could have drilled and tapped it. I did not want to do that hence the reason for searching for this part.

Yeah, +1 on the drill and tap for 1/8". Smaller and smaller you get the more fragile you get.

If I break it then I may drill it and tap it for 1/8' npt. Otherwise, this is what I am going with. I doubt I break any fittings on it.

Too late Jason. Already ordered a couple fittings. If that does not want to work out, then I have no problem drilling and tapping.
