Sup HT, Like I said....I'm lookin for the innovative front cross member for my 89 civic hatch. I don't want the competition setup tho, I'm looking for the one that utilizes the stock radius arms and bushings. Will need it SHIPPED to Bayfield, CO 81122. PM if you have one you want to get rid of.

I've got one and let me tell you it is complete ****.
Sits way to low and is made of some cheap chinese steal. Get anything but man.
You loose your factory jack point and this thing will colapse if you try jacking it up over time.

LOL!!!
I had one when they first came out and took it off within 3 days. Its dangerous in my opinion. A real piece! If not wanting to use a traction bar, just modify your existing crossmember and put radius bearing in it.

JESUS that's friggin ridiculous!!! I used to have a traction bar on mine but didn't like the feel of it since it was my daily driver......but it tucked up in the chassis just like the stock cross member.
Thanks for the pics EFn! And that is the actual Innovative mount and not just another manufacturer right?

Correct innovative replacement crossmember, it hangs low and sucks but allows me to run a eg 1/2 size radiator without any lean and it feels solid on mine with the bushing kit. I plan on reworking it a bit when I get my welder, as alan said if you arent careful it can be dangerous hitting things with it.

I don't know why the stock replacement is so much different from the competition series.....when I had the competition series in my ride it fit just like the OEM???Anyways, thanks for your replies......let me know if you end up taking it off and having it re-worked to resolve the clearance issue (pics would be great)!!!

Yeah I can imagine! My f***ing header hangs low enough as it is.....I couldn't imagine having something hang that low!!! I wish someone would fabricate one of these that fit's in like the stock cross member

Whoever said OEM is best is wrong when it comes to the oem crossmember that thing is safe not practical for race cars lol
I have one in my DA and its up and tight. I have zero complants and the style of the rods are better designed vs full race. who uses 2 rod ends where as Innovated uses one.
Oem is best. Replace the bushings with bearings and it acts a traction bar and still sits up high. That innovative one is no good. You will hit curbs, steep driveways, and more. Its a good way to smack something and tweak the frame. But, to each his own, right.. II

Thanks for the reply......I mainly just want it to shed pounds and gain more room under the hood. I'll probably just look into something custom made, or possibly find a used innovative one and modify that. I just want the flexibility/cushion of the bushings on the radius arms versus the solid connection for the 'full-race' versions.
