Default FN2 stage 1 upgrades, need advice

Hey mates,

Already got all parts for my upgrade, here is a list:

1) TODA exhaust manifold
2) Invidia cat back
3) RCC intake manifold
4) HKS premium suction kit intake
5) Brian Crower stage 2 camshafts
6) Brian Crower Springs and Titanium Retainers

but have a real big doubt. My tuner says its ok, but another one doesn't even want to do a thing with my car after the mod. The biggest issue is installing Brian Crower camshafts stage 2 on my stock engine. I have no stroker kit and I'm afraid it can be lethal for the engine. What do you think on it? And also what do you think can be must have in addition to this mod?

Thanks

there are no issues with running those cams on a stock bottom end, except you may be limited to how much vtc you can run. you would have to ask crower what they suggest as a safe max limit or clay the engine.

you'll of course need a tune after all this.

Those cams are a bit agrressive on a non stroked motor. But you did get valvetrain kits so it will not tear up anything. Question why did you go BC stage 2? Also found this from site Normally Aspirated Specification Hot street/strip or road race spec. Use with CAI, H, E, ECU, A/F mods. Excellent street manners and idle quality. Requires kit BC0040 or BC0040S. Did you get bigger injectors? crush the FPR?

I would of gone with the drag cartel 2.2L instead they are way better... also if you need a tune I highly recommend VitViper he is one of the best!

Yes Vit is a great tuner! Drag cartel are nice but if you look on here or k20a.org they did a comparison on cams and for oem cams its k24a2 or a4 out of tsx that was better then the k20a.

mate, honestly I'm not very good in all this stuff and I went with BC because it was my tuner's advice. i did also check their page and I have no idea of what are CAI, H, E, A/F and your advice here will be very much appreciated. as for injections, they are standard as my tuner says stock ones are enough. what do you think?

Drag Cartel cams are much more expensive and again, I simply didn't know about them as for stroker, not in my budget now. if my mods are acceptable without it, I would prefer to think on it after brakes and rims exchange as now it is stock. heavy rims and very pour brakes..

djus,

CAI is a Cold Air Intake, H is a header ( exhaust manifold), E is exhaust ( everything after the Header) A/F is Air/Fuel ( the tuning to get the engine to not run lean on an enlarged air intake system.

Hope this helps.
