You will pay a few thousand dollars more at a dealer when you consider the higher prices, higher taxes, and dealer fees. (I am willing to write whatever you want as the "purchase price" on the title so you can pay less in taxes as well). If your anything like me, the little extra legwork in purchasing privately will save thousands, and is worth it.
This is a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE. There are 39,807 miles currently on the car.
The exterior is a dark silver/gray, more of a gunmetal color. The interior is black cloth. It is a 4 cylinder.
The mileage will slowly increase as it is my daily driver. The car itself is in great condition. The exterior is a 9 out of 10, The interior is a perfect 10 out of 10. The motor and everything mechanical on the care is a 10 out of 10.
The car is an all-wheel drive (does great in the snow)and gets great gas mileage. (24 city/30 highway). It is an CVT automatic transmission( great for city driving/traffic). The car has a lot of standard features due to it being an high end SE model. It has factory HID headlamps with fog lights, factory upgraded sound system, CD/MP3/Aux/Bluetooth audio. (I can listed to Pandora and Itunes through my iphone wirelessly while driving), Heated Seats, Power Windows, power mirrors, power locks, factory security system. It also has a smart key with a push start button. There is also built in Bluetooth for a phone. It has a factory upgraded interior lighting system as well. There are paddle shifters in case you want the "sport mode feel" when shifting.
Everything mechanically works great on this car, the maintenance is up to date, tires, brakes, oil changes are all up to date on good. It is very reliable. The only reason I am selling is because I just purchased a new house and I am looking to downgrade to a car without a payment.
Again, I am looking to get $15,499 for the car, which is slightly less then I owe on it. I am willing to take a small loss for a quick sale. KBB has the car listed at $16,400 for the same mileage and condition.
