Default need help . just swapped motor and wont start!

Ok so to start off I just swap a d16y7 from hmotorsonline into my girls 99 lx . went to start it and nothing happened. No crank at, turn the key and no noise at all. Fuel pump wasnt priming so took it out and tested it, it worked. Tested the starter and it worked and put it back in and did a voltage test and its getting its the right voltage. All fuses checked out good. Except I pulled the fuel pump fuse and starter fuse and its getting power but not sending the power? I t-pinned the fuel pump and no voltage at.my last guess is the main relay.didnt get time to check it. If anyone can help id greatly appreciate it.

Double check all those grounds. Clean both surfaces with a little sandpaper and reassemble with dialectric grease if you have any.

Double check the G101 (T-stat housing), G3 (transmission), and G1 (battery) grounds.

G3 = top of transmission to chassis.

G1 = chassis to (-) battery post.

Did you use the original '99 LX engine harness or did you use the one from the '97 D16Y7 ???

I rebuilt a motor one time and used a remanned head that was painted. It was a 4-cyl Ford POS, but anyway. It would not crank the starter over because the grounds were on the head and paint was so thick it couldn't make enough contact for the current needed. After sanding the paint off and adding some extra grounds (Honda-style) the car started right up.

Are you actually testing the grounds with a multimeter?
