It seems like there is a short somewhere - this car is doing funny things.

1. A while ago, one of the parking lights stayed illuminated even with the car off (I don't think it does any more but don't know what was done).
2. Dash lights don't work properly - seems like the dimmer switch is dirty/faulty - flickers when messing with the dimmer.
3. The indicators that tell you if your door is open - every indicator stays lit up (all doors, trunk, and brake light) - they slowly and gradually become illuminated and remain lit up while driving the car.

Any ideas what is going on? Could this all be due to the faulty dimmer switch?

 

un plug the dimmer switch and commence with driving the car around.

does the problem persist?
if no, that is likely your issue.
if yes, then its something else.

me being a victim at one time of electrical issues in my 93 accord wagon I have to ask, does your car have a sunroof?
do you notice water after it rains inside the cabin where your feet go, or on the passenger side?
