^^ Haha....

So what determines if an upgraded FPR is needed? Is it X amount of HP that requires upgrade to FPR and fuel rail??

a regulator upgrade is needed when you need fuel pressures above factory settings.

I'm running stock base pressure with 1000cc injectors.

Look into bdl regulators too. I picked up mine for a hundred bucks from laskey. Also matched it with his fuel rail.

Can you please elaborate a bit more on this ? So what would require fuel pressure above factory settings? Sorry, I'm still a noob .. I see alot of people use factory fuel rail and fpr and larger injectors and are able to make 500 hp with no problem. Is it safe to say that you are not required an upgrade to rail and fpr if your not going over 550 to 600 hp?

You need to know how much fuel you need based on the type of fuel you are running.
You need to know how large injectors you need based on the power you are aiming for.
You need to know how much fuel flow you need based on the power you are going for.

So if you need a higher base pressure to allow your injectors to flow x amount of fuel you need a regulator.
