Icon2 Climate control affecting headlights/driving lights

Ok guys, I got a weird one for you...

I'm working with an 89 Civic Si (CDM). Car is on, headlights/driving lights are off. If I set the fan speed to 1 or 2, what appear to be day time running lights come on. When I set the fan speed to 3 or 4, the right turn signal turns on. It's not blinking, it's just on. And it's on in the cluster as well. Even weirder, with the fan on 3 or 4, if I turn on the headlights, the fan cuts out.

I think it's possessed...any ideas?

probably wires got crossed. my buddy had a similar problem. he had to turn in his heater to slow down the blinker.
