Default HID Kit Install Problems

Hey guys, I have a 98 Civic CX hatch and I bought some new headlights and taillights from protuninglab. I also got an HID kit with the headlights its suppose to be a plug n play kit and I have run into a problem. When I hook up the kit and turn my regular lights on one light is HID and the other looks regular. Then when I turn the brights on it switches to the opposite. So the one that was HID goes to the regular looking light (stock bulb) and the other side goes HID. I have no idea. Help?

my guess is that you bought hi/lo setup in which the high uses a regular style.. Try checking the one that is HID in h but not low and make sure the plug that connects the bulb to the balast is not flipped. -/+

I figured it out. The wiring on my kit was backwards. Got it all wired and zip tied down but when I drove around to see how they looked out of no where my radiator started leaking. Time ti replace it....
