This is a question for all the gurus out there, I picked up a 1997 transmission for my sons 96 accord, the case has some differences, but looks like everything lines up, his original tranny died, ( I posted earlier about this) has anybody had any problems mating a 97 5 speed to a 96? I am going to clean it up and check some other dimensions tomorrow, just trying to get a head of it

 

From what I understand any 1990-2002 Accord Manual transmission will work. And any 1992-2001 Prelude also. H and F series transmissions are cross compatible with their engines.
