Hey guys, looking for ideas. 6-6 coupe with 105k on it. The clutch has been slipping for two days, and now it's stuck in gear and the shifter just wobbles (no gates). Is this indicative of just a clutch/pp failure, or should I be looking at the shifter assembly?

 

Clutch if its been slipping for a few days. Can you get it in and out of gear with the motor off?

 

It clicked into first with the car off 2 days ago and now there's no resistance. Feels like a cable let go.

 

Better start there first, check under the hood, with someone moving the gear shift to see if its working as it should there, easier to see.

If nothing there, time to take the center console apart, to see what is not hooked up.

 

Plastic ball on the end of the shifter popped off (odd). Works fine now, and buys me a little more time to get stuff together for the clutch replacement
