hey im new to the forum and the past couple of days i have been having some trouble with my 2011 civic LX. i decided to tap into the dome light that powers on whenever you unlock the car to get the dimming effect for my footwell lighting. once i installed the lighting, everything worked fine for the first day. then things started getting a little strange. the dome light would not turn on at all nor dim, but the footwell lighting did. it thought that it would be a fuse and i could worry about it in the future. today i decided that i wanted to have the same effect but with an under glow as well. so i spliced the wires, ran them under the car, connected the lighting correctly, placed the fuse back into #22 under the hood, and the lights just stayed on constant. didn't dim, but they were on. still no dome/map light. could i have destroyed the dimmer? blown a fuse? i really need some help because it seems like nobody else seems to have this problem. thanks -Sebastian <3
