HEADLIGHTS FLICKERING WHEN BRAKING
Hello the problem I am having recently it seems to be getting worse possibly because people flash me when I am going down the street. It's a 1990 HONDA ACCORD 188,000 miles automatic when-ever I hit my brakes the car can be off on driving down the road or what-ever the headlights flicker and return back to normal within seconds only hitting the brakes does it the alternator & battery a new within the past year. If it could be a ground or some connection please anyone with information help me resolve this I heard where it could be one of the connections under the hoods fuse box but not sure. Another question too what is that wire going from the right of the fuse box when your facing it that has a connection to it in the fuse box itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
Any idea on location of main ground? It's a real slight flicker just enough for people to realize like on-coming traffic to flash me. But there's a ground on each headlight?
If you are calling G101 the main ground - it is on the t-stat housing where the lower hose connects to the engine.
For the headlights - I'd be worried with G201, (right pass side) and G301 (left drivers).
Be sure the battery cables are clean and tight....I personally would check and clean the "other" end of the ground cable where it contacts the body and then to the trans.
Have the charging system checked/tested - many parts stores will do this for free. Be sure to have it tested under load.

Thank you for your reply Lost so far what I've found is. The ground connected to the negative battery terminal had a thin layer of rust cleaned it up real good it doesn't happen barely at all now it just dims for like a millisecond but to get rid of that millisecond dim I am still going to check/clean the other grounds. The alternator & battery is new within a year along with the battery terminals I'll post a update after cleaning the rest of the grounds. Thank you again Lost.
