Default buying an S2k

Lately I've been playing around with the idea of retiring my EK4 and buying a S2000 for weekend/ track car. Is there any advice you guys can give me when looking for a good S2k? Also, what is exactly the difference between the facelift and the older model?

Maybe this is important, but I'm located in Europe. Don't know if we got different versions then the USA.

The wikipedia page covers things pretty well.

The AP1 vs. AP2 google search will warrant a lot of good info too.

One is more track sloot certified, the other is better for old ladies.

I am an old lady so I bought an AP2.

the 2006+ models have the Drive By Wire, and the ECM that can be flashed. so if you plan on doing any heavy engine modding, that can help save some money.

The extra amount of money you spend on the car makes it not worth it 9 times out of 10. Who wants DBW?
