CRX Si disc swap or hub swap?
Hey guys, I've been looking around for hours now about doing a rear disc swap on my Si hatch. I have an opportunity to pick up a set of CRX Si trailing arms for $150. I've also read where people just get the hub for the rear discs and throw it on the hatch, and I'm over here wondering why people are doing Integra/CRX TA/UCA/LCA/CA and E-brake cable swaps if a hub replacement is just that much easier. Trying to finalize my decision with some quality input before making my purchase. Thanks!
You would only swap the trailing arm, not the related arms with it. Cables are necessary because of the length. When you have everything it'll make sense why you need what you need.
On the other hand, why don't you take this opportunity to do a write up on how to complete the conversion using the hub swap method instead of the whole trailing arm? It would be nice to see someone do that and contribute to this site.

I've read that integra arms will bring the wheel out a bit, and there are toe issues and what not. But CRX discs will swap with no issues other than needing the DA e-brake cables? It just seems that it varies from one person to the other on how things fit and swap out.

There is a difference on the rear trailing arm assembly (I'm guessing from the hub assembly maybe?) from 3rd gen Integras and it does make the wheel sit out just a tad further but shouldn't be anything anyone would be concerned about (helps those looking to make the wheels come out further anyway). I believe someone did actual measurements and posted the results, like half an inch difference. Never heard anyone mention toe issues as far as the rear is concerned.
As stated by "Freemananana" 90-93 should install just fine (that's what I have as well).

You do need to swap out the front toe arm/bar from the crx to your hatch one the ones on my swap where an 1" to short. I just did an alignment as well yesterday and got every thing adjusted and toes in perfectly. Put new brake hoses on and do a quick rear brake job before you put it all on while its down, I also changed the bushings and sway bar stabilizers and bushings while it was all apart. Save you the time, Now the car feels great
Also I had to adjust my coil overs the swap lifted it an inch, and it did seem to push the wheel out a little nothing to interfere with rolled finders and a camber kit couldn't fix un less your keeping stock height then your good.

I just did the swap with a Crx SiR rear trailing arm swap, my stock bushings where not there... I just swapped the arm, the ebrake cable that was on the crx worked just fine in my 90 Si hatch and now I have a way better pull on it actually. I used the stock Si everything under the hood booster m/c and prop valve, It stops better now then the drums, and discs looks good,

I hit a bump, not to mention the shittiness of the ride. As for the alignment, how much would you say it brought the wheel out? I'm stock height for now, but plans are to go dumped.
