Car wont start
Hello everyone!
I've been experiencing starting issues with my car. I have a honda accord 98 ex 4 cylinder automatic. Now before i explain the problem, I thought this issue had to deal with the iavc or egr valve. The car had idling problems, the rpm would completely drop and the car shuts off.
About 2 weeks ago, i cleaned out the iavc, egr, and manifold with carb cleaner (I followed a guide on here thanks for that and that crap was super dirty). After doing this the problem persisted, so then i thought it might be the egr, so i replaced that.
The idling problem stop, it would now be sitting at 1000 rpm steady. Now this other problem occurred. When I switched from Park to Drive, the car shuts off
and you can hear this puff puff noise while trying to give it gas. Note: (when it is in park i can give it gas and its fine)
I'm totally lost I was thinking it might have to do with the fuel or ignition. I don't know much about cars, this is my first time ever working on a car, I got fed up with the jacked up prices at auto places so i figured ill solve it myself.
Anyone ever experience this problem or have any insights on whats wrong?

Is the CEL on? I would first check to see if you have any codes before you just started replacing sensors randomly. It sounds like your TPS could be malfunctioning but the check engine light check could definitely shed more light on the issue.
