I currently have a 1991 CRX DX with a z6 mini me swap. My harness has butcheted some I bought this car and my Mechanic wants me to find a new under dash harness. I found one from a 90 CRX with an auto trans. My question is, are the under dash harnesses the same for 5 speed and auto? I know the engine harnesses are different and wanna know before I drop the $$$. thanks

Should be the same for the under dash harness. Someone else can voice their thoughts too.

 

No I have an 89 crx si harness im using and needed a dash harness so I bought one on ebay that said 88-91 (it was an 88 si). Wasn't even close to the same. If I were you I'd get the same year and model because I know my hf and si were different and they were both 89.

 

Okay. Hadn't thought about the trim levels, but it make sense since all the controls are connected to that harness. I know the years are different since the 88/89 and 90/91 are fairly different. Also, the 88 has a lot of it's own stuff that didn't even carry over to 89.
