First Time Honda Owner
I've always liked Hondas, just never owned one until now.
I just bought a Black 1998 Honda Civic Si (coupe), 5 speed, with a sunroof (it's also the first car I've owned with a sunroof so I'm loving that!) and 252,000KM on the clock.
I'm in Canada and so I think this one is a D16 SOHC VTEC, not the B16 DOHC VTEC engine. But I wasn't really concerned with any of that. This for me is just cheap, hopefully reliable transportation. I was actually looking for a CX or DX hatchback but this was a good deal and I like coupes too. I'm not going to be "doing it up" other than maintenance, maybe tinted windows, MAYBE an MP3/Aux in HU but stock stereo sound decent and to my surprise it has tweeters in the A-pillars (is that stock for a 98 Honda?) it also has the CD changer in the trunk (not that I'll be using it)
I am a car nut (petrol head!) in general who likes all types of cars, be it import or domestic, show or go. But I'm not into the wings, fart can exhausts or body kits myself. I prefer cars that have the performance to back up the looks (all show and no go isn't for me) but I want my car to look stock and be as low profile as possible as I don't want to have to worry about it getting vandalized, broken into, or stolen!
Anyway figured I would join a Honda forum as I'm sure you guys can help me when I need it! Not to mention it's nice to find deals from people who have the same car parts.
