These times were at a track day today in Fl at 10:31 Type R left, My LS right
R/T--------.913-------------------.677
60'---------2.388------------------2.361
330--------6.400------------------6.525
1/8--------9.682------------------10.090
MPH-------74.96------------------68.73
1000------12.514-----------------13.166
1/4--------14.908-----------------15.782
MPH-------93.22-------------------85.20
The type R had a AEM cold air and nothing else.
On my LS IHE cam gears and no rear seat.
The temprature i would say was around 83. The track was extremely sticky but fun day though, started at 16.263 and down to 15.782 so was fairly happy and opinions on times help hints or anything? I know i need more HP badly.

i don't think an R is that fast...mid 14's stock?? i doubt it.
don't just read some article in SuPEr StReEt and expect people to be running those times. they probably have professional drivers on slicks to get those times....also, let see some of your times man before you go and rag on other people's runs..loser

PaChiLa, so you say my time is bad, did youtake into consideration the differences prehaps between were you and I live. And also the fact that a bone stock Integra ran a 17.1 with a proffesional driver. Plus I wanted some help how i could lower my time. Its great that your LS got a 15.3, now if you want to tell me how that would be nice.

that's my whole point man.. not to say others are bad drivers or whatever..
sorry to confuse you fellows..
i know a guy that had a ls with aem cai and skunk2 coilovers and he ran a 15.2 with street tires but it might have to do with the temp. of the day and elevation. that and the fact that a great driver in a slow care can beat a bad driver in a fast car. just my 2 cents

see there you go.. so LS tran hit mid to low 15's are still possible, right?

15.4 @ 88mph with cold air intake, spare tire and rear back seats removed.
15.4 @ 89.9mph with cold air intake, 2.25" cat-back, full interior.
well with a 2.2 60' the type r would have brought his et down 2 tenths. I have found that every .10 you bring off your 60, you brong about 2-3tenths off your ET
I just found out that all the 1/4 ET in the magazines are corrected for altitude. So theoretically it's possible, but practically some of those numbers are not possible.
Does anyone know of any sea level tracks, I mean within 100ft? The lowest one I know, I think, is the Infineon Raceway which is about 500ft above sea level? someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Austin - who used to drag race every week at Sears Point
Sears Point/Infineon Raceway is ~38ft above sea level.

Keep in mind that those "profession drivers" has driven those cars for like a couple days max, no one knows your car better than yourself os with some good skill you can pull awesome times even better than the mags...also the mags do those times with stock psi in the tires and all fluid including gas at max...

What does that mean? like the other guy said they aren't great and they aren't bad, don't go claiming or trying to out do other people when all they want is help not critizing. Honda-tech is for Q&A, if you want to boast or critize go to the street races, or the off topic forum. As I said, if you want to show help or anything feel free.
Normal driver
