Default D16Z6 question

Hey everyone I know most people villify the D16Z6 motor or don't like the single overhead cam but I like my engine, there is only one problem. Top Speed. Is there anything I can do to improve my top speed?

Lots of things, what are you willing to do though is the real question.

Then you need to either swap a different engine in or go turbo. Basic boltons like exhaust and intake will do nothing.

Would it be wiser to engine swap or turbo?

Depends on budget and how much power you are looking for. You should probably read through the FAQs on this sub forum and then read the forced induction FAQs, research a bit and figure out which is right for you. Lots of things to take into consideration especially emissions where you live.

Do a vitera build on your z6 and a go-autoworks turbo kit. Skunk 2 manifold, bigger throttle bod, etc... 14-15lbs at the track, 10-8lb daily driving and u will have some fun. Loved my z6 turbo man i miss it of all the b and d series i had

Once again read the FAQs, Boost means nothing unless you know what turbo it is.

The problem is with you expecting information to be spoon fed to you. Read the FAQ's sticky - that's why it's there.
