Default car won't start.

whatups HT, i recently got a 2000 gsr from a old friend of mine and the car was boosted but before he gave me the car he took out the turbo and put everything back to stock... my car was running for a while then suddenly died on me.. my friend told me it could be the ecu so i checked out the ecu and it was running on a p30 so i traded the p30 with an p72 obd2b and now the car wouldn't start, i was thinking that it was the fuel injectors so i change the fuel injectors but it still wouldn't start, then i check the wiring from the ecu and realize that my knock sensor wire was cut and wire to the jumper harness that connects the obd2b to the p30... so it could be my knock sensor that it's not starting the car? i also have a bad dizzy could it be that or my starter? my car would crank but not start... then after trying to start it for 3-4 times it stop cranking...

The knock sensor will most likely put your car in safe mode but it will still start and run, maybe yes get your dizzy checked out, dizzy cause the engine to crank crank crank but won't start. Start with that first

Yeah let's get it started first, maybe you should just use the p30 ecu he had, bc he wire it to that ecu if I'm correct? Also maybe chipped that's y the knock sensor wire is cut.

If it will not crank, you have a connection problem, nothing in the ECU/ECM or distributor will prevent cranking.

I would start by redoing the main grounds, [batt. to chassis and chassis to engine] DO NOT just eyeball them, disconnect/clean /reconnect.

Make sure batt. is fully charged and make sure batt. posts and cable clamps are clean and cable clamps are tight.

If still no start, check for fuel, [is there fuel in the tank] turn ign. on to the run position, [not all the way to start] and listen for the fuel pump priming, it should run for a few sec. and then stop and the CEL should go out, if tthat works, with the ign. still on check for power at the injectors, [lead that is the same color at all four injector plugs].

If you have fuel pump priming and power at the injectors, try starting the engine and then right away remove a spark plug and inspect it, is it "wet" with gas?

If yes, use a HEI spark tester to check for spark. 94
