Default Stock b18b smoking and black #1 plug

So my car has started smoking and not just when it's cool. It smokes more when under heavy acceleration. Not much at idle. Oil is getting burned fairly quickly depending how hard I drive.

VC gasket was replaced 4-5 months ago and car was running great untill a month or so ago. The radiator sprang a leak and the car got hot. I pulled over immediately (no steam or anything from the engine bay), I only noticed via th gauge. Total time while hot was under 3 minutes and car was not under load (in traffic).

I replaced the radiator, and everything seemed to be ok (other than a random electrical gremlin). Smoke was first noticed last weekend.

I pulled the plugs last night and number 1 (far right when facing engine) was dark black sooty up about 1/4" on the threads. The other 3 looked fine/clean. The spark plugs were replaced when I did the radiator and only have around 2-300 miles on them.

Coolant level has not dropped so it's only burning oil.

Ideas?

I'm going to check the pcv valve just because I never have (had the car for a little under 2 years).

169k miles on the car.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention... did compression test and all were within 9psi of each other. Cylinder 1 was right in the middle.

I don't have the tools for a leakdown test.

you probably have stuck oil control rings. common for motors being this old.

for the price of b18 blocks you can either run with it or just swap in a new block for 500 or so.

Never done a engine swap before. Pretty mechanical though. Any good guides for help besides helms and fsm?

Compression is right around 155psi all around. Just re-did test. Car used a ton of oil in a 20 miles test drive though (to get it warm for the test).
