Bought my car with no heat, no power to control head, no blower power, nothing. I'm pretty green when it comes to HVAC. What are the first things I need to look for/test to get my heat working for the winter? What components are necessary for my heater to work?

There is a pretty big black box that is required for heat to work. Aside from that box that goes on the inside that has the blower motor and such, you just have to pipe the coolant through the firewall. Shouldn't be hard. The dash controls are pretty simple for the heat if I remember correctly. Definitely go to the junkyard and get the whole system for $20. I'll try and find the component list in my manual.
