Default need help...no start

hey guys i got a good one for you. So i have my battery relocated in the trunk, and recently ive been blowing fuses like crazy. got to the point where i ran out of 100amp fuses a couple days ago and had to remove the inline fuse holder and run it fuseless. ok heres where it gets weird.
ive been having engine issues so i was off to a buddys place to pick up an engine. car drove fine there.. car sat for a couples hours, then i moved it closer to the garage. 15 minutes later i went to start to start it again and it wouldnt start. we finally sourced the problem to a bad ground. kept the car running until i had to leave. i didnt change the ground, but the car ran ok the drive home but i knew that if i stopped, the car might not start. finally got the car home after an hour drive.parked it shut off the car. Tried to start it again and nothing. i went inside to quickly make a ground. make the ground and put it in the car. now is where it gets weird.
i put the key in the ignition. accesory works(radio comes on) , when i turn it to on. The whole car dies.(no power)
i know its a strange one, but if anyone has any tips on what they think this might be, please any help would be awesome,
im thinking ignition switch, its just weird that it was the ground at my buddys place and when i get it home i cant even try and start it

everything you said is exactly what had happened with my car few months ago. i fried my power wire from the battery (in trunk) to the distribution block to the start. pretty much all the wires thats coming off the positive battery terminal. also my ground wire. (i took my starter our for a friend and left the battery connected in which i shocked the starter wire to the trans)

Sounds like your battery relocate kit may be the issue. Maybe you lost connection and it's grounding out somewhere like My_EF said.
