Default Trading manual doors for power window conversion. 99 ej6 using 98 power

My car is a 99 and the interior harness is coming out a 98 ex. I'm gonna separate the wires for the window regulators. Will I have to depin and rewire the 98 plugs or will they plug up no issues? Also am I correct that I need the following: door panels, switches, regulators and harness. Anything else?

Welllllll.... I am pretty sure you need to use a 99-00 harness for your 99. There were a lot of wiring changes.

not that many really but its a mater of all the pins being used are different sized and the consolidate 2 connectors into one for the 99 model floor harness. Plus the door brains are in different locations 96-98 in the doors. 99-00 in the kick panel basically, do yourself a favor and get 99-00 doors.
now it can be done, but it depends on how much time/work you are willing to put in. That also depends on which lock brain you want to use: 96-98 or 99-00.
it will be much easier to go with the 99-00 wiring all around. you can keep the motors and switches etc. those are all the same fyi.

I'm not trying to use the power door locks. Only power windows.

3dr doesn't have the power features ... but yeah, 4dr is going to work too and they are pretty common.

You will need to extend some wires on the door... oh wait, the window actuator won't work. On second thought, just get it from a 2dr. It will make your life easier.
