car wont go in Gear No air
got 95 integra gsr. Replaced the slave and master cylinder along with an entirely new clutch line. Completely bled the system there is no air. But the car will not go into gear while running. My release fork only gets pushed about 1/2 inch is that not enough? what is correct amount. How would i get it to go further because with the car running clutch down and a pry bar to push the fork alittle bit more the car shifts beautifully. Can this issue be caused by a defective Pressure Plate? since putting a stage 2 comp clutch and flywheel in it seems that about every 5-6 months im replacing MC CSC because the clutch begins to grab right off the floor. A few times there was a leak in either CMC CSC but this past time i just replaced everything. But now the car does not go into gear at all. The CMC pushrod is adjusted all the way out btw so i'm pushing as much fluid as i can. PLEASE HELP!!!!
im having that same problem but the thing of it is that i bleed it and it works fine well with a little jumping onb first but then it shifts fine then i let it sit for about an hour ,come back and it goes down to the floor and i replaced everything ,clutch precion plate trow bearing, master and slave cilinder and i have been going at it all weekend .....could it be a leak somewhere? i dont think is the line cause i dont see any leaks anywhere?
my clutch doesn't fall and stay to the floor. it stays firm. i bench bled the living sh*t out the of MC. and I bench bled the slave as per instructions holding the slave at a 45 degree angle and fill. Im looking for some type of bushing for the end of my push rod on slave bc if i push the pedal and someone helps my release fork go another 1/4 inch its like a brand new transmission. I've also seen people putting washers behind the pivot ball. May go that route since i can get trans off in about 45 min. still looking for other alternatives tho i'll report back with findings after. I heard some where that i cud use an s2000 master is this true and what is the benefits bc the person who told me only mentioned it.
Your clutch fork may be bent, reducing the travel to the clutch. Haven't heard of this too much though. If the flywheel is not in the correct position (IE machined without using a shim to compensate) this can also cause travel problems, this is more common.
Of course spline condition, clutch master/slave cylinder size, and if it is adjustable, clutch pedal position also can play factors in too little travel.
