I do not own a del sol but am HIGHLY intrested in buying one for lthe past 8 years. I have sen a few pics online where the trunk is raised straight up and is parallel to the car. Do all del sols do that or is it certain years or models?

 

that's for the del sols with trans top cant get one in the states or Canada as far as i know European ones can have that option

Thanks for the post. I figured it looked cooler than it was, I don't really see anybody being able to really use it for storage. Sucks that you can't get them like that in the states though

 

you can buy em and have them installed, search the jdm importers.

 

As I understand it, swapping this system in is more of a conversion than a swap. It's expensive, a pain in the ***, and when (not if) the gears strip out or other parts fail you will have trouble finding parts.

yeah, i didn't even realise that it was a way of storing the top automaticaly. Thanks for letting me know that. Now I know not to get one
