Hello, I have a 91 Honda CRX HF with a JDM B18C Type R w/LSD tranny and Hondata. I have owned this car for 2 weeks now and I have been driving it all over the place having fun. But just yesterday, I stopped at a stop light and waited about 20 seconds. As I proceeded it was running fine. Once I let go of the pedal it stalled. I started it back up no problem. I proceeded again and the car started hopping. It was like you tried taking off at a stop light in 3rd gear. I gave it gas and cleared it out and I pulled quickly into a parking lot were it stalled right after I let go of the pedal. (I was driving in town so the car was already up to temp and had a half tank of fuel). I sat in the parking lot for about 5-10 min. while checking oil level and pressure of radiator hoses. (there was antifreeze up to the max line in the reserve) The car was not over heating and it has been 40 degrees out for about a week. After that 5-10 min. I started the car up and it ran just fine all the way home with no loss of power.

Every morning I go start the car up and its about 35 degrees out. I must feather the gas pedal otherwise it will not stay running. I must do this for about 2 min and then it idles fine and no loss of power.

Does anyone know what could cause this. I do not have a check engine light on!

IACV or FITV? Not sure if the GSR would have a FITV, but the IACV might be giving you some issues.

 

OK. I will take it off and clean it with carb and choke cleaner and see what happens.
