Default 93egSLEEPER: round 2

What's up guys/gals,
I'll keep it short and sweet. In June of 2011 I had my first ever honda and project stolen from me. (see sig for details). From there I was done with hondas, the paranoia, and issues that comes with them so I bought my truck and never looked back. I picked up a 95 frost white coupe DX w/ 200k back in mid April to use strictly as a commuter. My truck getting 10mpg was getting expensive ($1100 a month in gas and payment w/ insurance) so I fell back into another Honda. I picked it up for 1200 w/ 3 burnt valves and a blown HG. I got it home, picked up a head for $60, a HG and Exhaust gasket from honda for $120 and BOOM I had a running car for $1400. I'll get some pics up later. It is 100% bone stock with the exception of GC coilover sleeves on S2 struts, Ebay front strut bar, ITR front subframe brace, Rear upper strut, a good ole ebay short shifter, a GSR axle back, and amber corners. I put about 10 hours into detailing it (clear coat restore, polish and wax, rock chip touch up). Both fenders and hood were hammered. I got a drivers fender from a buddy for $40 and threw that on. Im working on getting the passengers fender fixed and replacing the hood as well. The body I would give a 8.5/10. Interior I shampoo'd and cleaned as well (the guy was a full time smoker w/ the windows up) so its about a 9/10, just has a small tear in the drivers seat. Like I said Ill post pics up when I get a chance.

Recently my HG started to leak oil and eat coolant again, I think there must be an issue w/ the block. I'm tired of the smoking D15 so naturally why wouldn't I swap another single in it and be done? Well I can't leave anything alone so it has now become project Frost white coupe: Round 2. I couldnt stay away. So this will be my build thread. I'll update it from time to time. Im collecting parts for a B20V build right now, as well as doing small cosmetic things here and there. My vision (for now) is to keep everything as OEM looking on the outside as possible. Later on when I have a garage to store it in I may get crazy with it but for now, the general public will only see a fairly plain white civic.
So here we go:

I WAS going to just go the GSR route like my old car BUT got a screaming deal on a B20 shortblock and goodies. (block, crank, rods, ITR oil and water pump, ACL race bearings BNIB w/ LSV lines and sandwich plate for $200)
With that said my setup is scheduled to be as follows
Bottom half:
84.5mm B20 block
89mm crank
LS rods w/ arp bolts
84.5mm P73-A0 pistons (11.65:1CR)

Top Half:
B16 Head-Stock port, no work
Rocket M22x's
S2 Lmas
Supertech VT
ITR IM-portmatched
Omni 68mm TB
Speedfactory thermal gaskets
RDX injectors
3" SRI w/ BPi stack and filter

Exhaust: S2 alpha header, 2.5" pipe, 2 12" vibrant resonators out of an old school Greddy SP muffler w/ the can painted black and tip chrome. Should be very mellow.

Tranny:
JDM GSR w/ LSD
CC stage 1.5
Fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel

My goal is to hit 12's in the 1/4

As for "dress up" Like I said I'm keeping it simple

LS webs (stripped and polished)
JDM corners
Stock ex/si front lip
Spoon Mirrors
JDM tails
JDM window visors
Tinted windows (20%)
******LOOKING FOR AN OEM BRA*******
--I'm going to drop the coils down just far enough to close up fender gap, but for DD I love the fact I have ground clearance.

Thats about it for now, but my plans are to have this motor built by next spring, I'll post up pics of everything I have as well as the car and try to keep this updated.
Thanks

I forgot 2 paragraphs and a build list, about 5 mins of reading at a 8th grade level, was a stretch on this site.

Yes I will have numerous stages of security on it. My last one had a 2-way alarm and a kill switch, but the removed the windshield trim and front vent to hack apart everything without tripping it somehow. I'm assuming it was towed as there would have been no way to start it.
