A good friend of mine was racing on the freeway tonite... when all of a sudden a cop pulled him over... so he pulled over.. and when the cops got out of their car.. instead it was a JACKING... one of the two guys pulled a gun to my friends head (passenger) and told him to give him to give him all his money, cell, etc! so they did so... and rite after that.. they let my two friends go! they didnt take the car, thank god! This happened 5 min away from Riverside on the 60
So let it be known to all so cal peeps.. let your friends know too! that theres a pair of fake cops rolling around.. with what looks like an unmarked cop car! (red light, and those annoying lights that blind you that are on the side mirrors!) so be careful... i would hate for this to happen to a fellow h-t member!

 

thanks for the heads up, I have heard something in the news about jackings in this area, primarily the "wealthier" areas. I never followed up on the story.
Thank god nothing happened to your friends given the circumstances, im assuming this was reported to the proper authorities.

Yeah i think you do. usually though, unmarks are others but lately not sure. Have you noticed in LA, not all police cars have the rammer in front, that is usually traffic duty. Most unmarked cars don't deal with traffic. Even the CHP camaros have small lettering identifiying themselves as CHP.All I can say is, just pull over in a well lit area.

I think the best way to figure out if they are legit or not is to listen for a siren, if no siren then keep your speed. If you still hear no siren, get the **** away from them.

If you do hear one, get in the slow lane and travel about 5 mph under the limit and wave that you will pull over at the next exit or something. Or even dial 911 to cover your ***.

Damn that sucks. That would make me think twice about pulling over for any cop.
If anyone is suspect about a phony cop, exit the freeway and pullover at a public place where other people are. ie gas station, or even a police station.

 

sounds like they'd be easy to catch soon. i mean, with the flashing lights and pulling people over, they're bound to catch the eye of a real piggy.

 

all the times I've been pulled over they have never turned on the siren.. they just turn on the red light inside.. or the red and blue lights on top but no siren... then I signal that I'm going to pull over and they follow...

yea, cali cops don't siren u anymore, and if they do it's for a split second only. they pull us over too much and i guess they'll eventually expect us to pull over even when they don't turn on the lights at all. sad huh? anyways, you guys DID report this to the cops right? i mean the REAL ones. Anyways, i say we all run around time beating the ***** outta these ppl and all those car jackers out there! DIE MOTHER PHUKERS DIE!

keep driving to the station, and see if they still pull you over!
