Skunk2 proS 2 review
I have a 98 integra and I looked online for a review on these suspension and couldn't find one. I was going to buy the proC's but didn't want to spend the extra 400 or so for a car I'm not planing to track, besides it can be stiffened by compressing the springs. Install was easy and adjusting was easy as well. Spring rate is 10k in front and 8k in back. Without compressing the springs the car had a slight bounce. After compressing the springs the bounce was gone. The car is stiff but not to a point that is too uncomfortable. I can feel the road and every bump it has. Handling improved even though I removed the strut bar. Not sure what else to mention about the suspension other than I love them and worth every penny. I'm a firm believer in skunk2 products and have just about everything they have to offer for my integra. Just hope their customer service was as good. Hope this helps people who are wondering about what suspension to choose from.
the more you research skunk2 the more you'll find they are just hyped tawain products and the owners capitalize on the ads.
the pro-c isn't a bad setup for someone who needs really high spring rates but they have always taken a backseat to AMR
the pro s generally is considered 2nd tier to the koni/gc setup for a few reasons, one being the superior rebound on koni, the second being the warranty. if a koni ever dies you get a new one. if a pro s dies...guys have reported little to no help from skunk
there are actually a LOt of threads on the pro s and discusions vs koni/gc from 2007-2008 when they were a hot item and more people were buying this stuff
tell you this much though, you could have done worse for the money. with all the form function and cheap crap on the market these days from the knock off factories at least you bought the better end of the taiwan gear

It's just a review. I looked up the ride quality on these suspension and couldn't find anything on it. To be honest Taiwan makes a lot of companies product. I don't take it as a bad thing because discount auto parts and autozone rebuild their shocks here in the US and I wouldn't use those. (I'm not trying to bash your comment)

all the more "sporty" setups use straight rate and higher pound per inch springs. in short none of the coilover setups have a decent ride quality. the better ones are firm but controlled which most people won't find all too bad.
all i was saying is for what you spent on those pro s shocks a koni gc setup would have given you the same rates had you chose them, a real warranty and adjustable rebound. that last part is a very big deal since the integra tends to be the fastest with considerably more rear rebound than front
