here is a pic that was taken at the Honda- Tech meet saturday night , but the header is finally done and will be for sale real soon. this is a prototype on the car that is made from steel, but the header that we will be selling will be all stainless with a 3" merge collector.... 2 step header design..more pics will be up soon..
a couple quick facts about our header...
1. it can be attatched to the stock exhaust by the way of a pipe that wraps around the oil pan.
2. you will never bash this header on the ground....unless you bash your entire oil pan. the header sits higher then the oil pan all the way around.
3. the header can be used for a race header with a seperate attatchment for a side exit..(notice where the collector is
) remember it has a 3" collector.
4. yes.. even if you have a 2.5" exhaust this header will work, the pipe that is connects the collector to the rest of the exahaust behind the motor can be made to run either a 3" or 2.5" exhaust. although we recommend anything producing over 210 to the wheels to have a 3".
5. the header is made from the best materials and has been designed to blow away all of the "best" headers out there..(hytech,toda,jun.....etc..)
6. the price.... well as of right now there is no set price,al that im going to say is that it will be a great bargain..

How big are the primaries?
I love to see if it could perform better than SMSP or Hytec even though I highly doubt it. They're customized for each car. But if it does(crossing my fingers), and if it's cheaper than they are, good for those of us that's in the market to buy a "real" header in the future.
I want numbers! Show us a dyno chart comparing it to a SMSP, Hytech, JDM Toda, JDM ITR 4-1. It'll be nice to see them on a stock motor with i/h/e AND on a fully built motor that makes 210+whp.

P.S. Is that a Burns Style merge collector that I see? Also it looks like the collector exit is smaller than rest of the pipe that's behind it.

I saw those headers saturday night... They are really nice. I spoke to NRG Tech about them and they told me it's a 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" stepped header. The primaries are all equal length(within 1/2") and they are 26" long. Yep those are burns style merge collectors and the primaries are sequentially firing. That small part you saw is part of the merge collector, its called a choke down. it's 2 1/2". It then opens up to 3". It helps exhaust scavenging. I see them on Winston cup cars all the time.
I would also like to see it dyno tested against SMSP & Hytech. I think it will perform alot better then you guys think.
I Want ONE!!!

Would love to see you guys prove me wrong. Trust me. I would DIE to see it, because if you can, I want one.

yes Mr. Charlie i would like to dyno it on your car...
Inconel...thanks for posting up the info
i cant believe you remembered that all..
as far as the header making the power it will do that.. as soon as we can get some time to dyno... the header isnt only gonna make great power but you will never have to buy another one. plus you also have a race header all in one.....
as far as the price it is going to be around $800. which is totally resonable considering what you are getting.... a header that makes great power and one that you will never bash when you go over a bump
and it looks really great....

You guys should consider making a version with just a street collector. Since majority of the buyers on this forum won't be able to dish out extra $200-$300 for Burns Style Merge collector for just 2-3whp gain throughout the power band.

I aint getting no picture, just some imagestation warning about accessing from outside imagestation. Me computer illiterate
I'm getting a AN-R header that looks like that. If you guys want, you guys could use my car as a test mule. But the AN-R header I got is with street collector.

the first header which is the one in the picture was just completed on saturday and we have not yet gotten a chance to dyno it... we weill be dynoing it on my car which has a stock gsr motor in it (the car in the picture) against a few other headers and also in a build gsr... itb's, hi-comp etc except his aem computer died on saturady so now he has to decide what he wants to do... get a new one or get whole new management system...
we were planning on dynoing all the same day as it would prove to make the whole process much easier and less time consuming... if it comes down to it and the built motor is not ready within a week or 2 we will at least have it dynoed on a stock gsr

Header looks good, how can you compare this header to those of hytech, toda, smsp, when they run under the oil pan as to to where yours runs around it, there is more room for expansion in power (more room to work with) as compared to the others by going around the pan.... I wouldn't call it cheating, but it shouldn't be classed along with those because its design.....just my 2 cents
is there enough clearence for A/C, PS..
Is there enough clearence w/ DC@ Radiator?

this is the first header designed this way for a street car... dont forget where u saw it first
