What happened is I did a clutch job, and after getting the tranny back in, I found the contact ball thing was out, so I had to shove it back in a bit, but when I did so it bent over a little and some brake fluid squirted out. Then I found the clutch pedal had somehow gotten depressed, so I raised that and pushed in the slave cylinder cable/ contact ball thing.

SO, basically when it was off the tranny and all the way extended, and I touched it, it leaked.

Normal in this situation, or does it sound shot?

 

you have air in your line man. just put the slave back on and bleed it well.

based from what you have told us, everything that is going on is perfectly normal.
