D16y7 ignition issue
I have a 97 LX that has a ghost issue in the ignition. I was getting a misfire in cyl 1&3 according to the codes thrown and when I replaced distributor internals the issue has persisted. I have replaced coil, ICM, cap rotor wires and plugs but I still get a misfire. The car also runs poorly with the AC on which is odd but nevertheless I am looking for some info on the black pick up inside the distributor since it's the last original part.
For those suggesting fuses, head gasket etc I have already completely checked those items ie; main relay, compression check etc.
Any info that could help would be appreciated

This was the only codes presents misfire? or someone else?
The black sensor is the TDC sensor and is part of the dizzy best shot if that going bad is to replace the dizzy.

Have you tested your fuel pressure? Had your injectors flow tested? Have you verified that you have bright white spark on all four plugs? Have you checked your timing?
I have the same engine on my '97 LX sedan. I had a bunch of random misfire codes, it ended up needing a valve job and new head bolts. Some valves were shot, I had a shop rebuild the head.
Sooo, how's that compression? And.. what are the exact codes for those misfires again?
