apexi ws2/tanabe medalion turing or oem itr
so on my itr the catback/muffler setup is very crappy(made by dumb guy) i already have a plm header coupled on this exhaust setup and i want to be ''sleeper''.so im looking for a catback/muffler combo...my itr will be tunned on dyno and the only other mod ive got is fujita cold air intake,,
any input on this setup apexi ws2 or tanabe medalion touring or should i get a complete oem itr setup???(cheap and proven)my goal is not pass 180 whp ans stay legal..so the jdm itr exhaust could it be install on a canadian itr???

i dont plan to add anny other engines mods..headers/oem line maybe a test pipe and go...BUT i just saw on plm website that my header is •True 2.65 (ID)inch collector outlet...so its a non sense to install a 2.25 exhaust setup.............

OPP just like to pull people over with good sounding exhausts. Its a noise emissions thing over in GTA. Sometimes I can't STAND going over there in a U.S. modified car, knowing they'll mess with me on 401 or QBW 400

I have a Plm Narrow with a 2.5" ApexI WS2 cat back and love it. A little louder/deeper then Oem but it wakes up when you hit Vtec. It really is a good setup without being obnoxious
Seriously tho, it's all the same chassis - bolts right up, IF you have the 2.5" collector. Also, you will need the JDM cat, or a test pipe, as the JDM cat is shorter than USDM (CDN) if I recall correctly. Easy to cut an aftermarket cat (or the JDM b-pipe) and reweld to the proper length at any exhaust shop if you need to stay smog legal (not sure the smog laws in Can.)You will have to measure your setup - JDM ITR is 2.5", but I've never actually measured it, and I'm not sure what your "2.65 ID" collector is about.
It is well documented that OEM ITR (USDM or JDM) is plenty good power-wise, and quiet. I personally hate the angry bee sound - and it's a popo roust. Don't need the extra attention - beyond what the stickers and wing already attract - LOL
i was looking for aftermarket exhaust but law here are crasy a paid 800$ in tickets bill...no way...this is why i would go oem axleback and a test pipe...nice sleeper, and enought efficiency
Not sure what you have on there now, but FYI - OEM/JDM b-pipe has a resonator(?) in it, some heat shielding, and the hangers. So test pipe + axle back + custom b-pipe may not be as quiet as stock, and you will have to have the hangers built. Seems to be a good selection of JDM bits in Can. these days. Maybe you can find the complete JDM exhaust. OEM USDM/CDN b-pipe has a couple of restrictions less than 2.25" in it. The most important thing to upgrade in the stock exhaust is the header + tuning. Good luck!
I have a plm v2 header and i will add the plm test pipe and complete oem jdm catback/axleback...not to $$$$$ and perfom well!!!
Get an exhaust shop to do up a custom 2.5 set up, add a resonator or 2 finishing it off with a vibrant stealth or use a small resonator just before the end of the exhaust having just a little 2.5 tip sticking out.
This is exactly what a Tanabe Medalion Touring is. Easier to just buy that if you want this route - fit and build quality are likely to be better, and it's a straight bolt up.
My guess is an older generation Mugen catback before they introduced the current twinloop muffler. Probably worth a pretty penny to the Mugenheads.
Any close up pics of the badges on the b-pipe?

I would just get the 2.5" piping like B_Swapped93 said. If the packing material ever goes out you can just swap resonators/mufflers. Buying used exhausts is just taking a gamble.
I recently replaced my resonator and muffler because all the packing material blew out. Makes life easier when you don't have to worry about cutting your name brand piping.

It doesn't look like it would be a loud exhaust. It also may not be 2.5in piping all the way through. Lot's of JDM catbacks are 2.36in. I'm hoping a Mugenhead could chime in to confirm.
fujitsubo rm01a, best exhasts i have had to date on my k powered ITR.

je roule un ws2 depuis 4 ans maintenant je l'aime bien. Sa fait pas de bruit vraiment plus que le oem et j'ai un 4-1 avec high flow cat. Pour le prix je peux pas chialer
