Looking for some help with finding a decent exhaust for under 200$ and a short ram intake for under 170$. I have a 1996 honda accord 4 door LX v6, i have done searching found some capable options but would like to see what you all think and suggest.

Also have any of you bought from CarID before? Wondering if its legit or not.

a short ram intake, even a $170 one is not very likely to net you any sort of performance gains. all you'll get is the sound and a little "eye-candy" under the hood. do your bank account a favor and just remove the resonator assembly from behind the bumper and plug the one on the snorkle leading to the throttle. use a high quality replacement filter if you don't have one now. you'll get the noise level increase without drawing in hot air and needing to re-oil the filter every few months.

how much of the exhaust are you looking for? axle-back? cat-back? Headers/full exhuast?

you may be able to find axle backs for <$200 assuming the 4cyl and V6 mufflers interchange. since you'll be saving $150 on that intake increase the exhaust budget to $350 and check out mandrelbentexhaustsystems.com. add to it a universal Magnaflow oval out back in the dimensions that suit. longer muffler will be quieter, shorter will be louder. Vibrant also has a good selection of universal mufflers. a little more expensive on average, but not overpriced.

headers... don't exist for the V6 as well as i am aware. if you're serious about having them, some can be custom made. search for CNC or laser cut port/head flanges. some fabricators can even make some up for you based on some measurements or the manifold gasket.
